So busy filling out my sheet I forgot to scan >:( My last diy earlier this year was a 5 because it was a list of filth i live. Never would expect it to go down as well qith others as it was just chicken in various forms and cheese in various forms. I didnt want any freshness on it and i was happy. This time I actually tried making a balanced burger. I thought I will try find any reason not to score it a 5 because scoring your own shit 5 just doesnt seem believable. I think i was fairly sensible with my tick quantity and managed something special here. Starting off first few bites i thought theres too much oc this not enough of that but by the end some of the ingredients that were hiding came out. The only thing i couldnt really taste was truffle mayo. I feel i managed to get so many subtle flavours to combine well and stand out on their own. It was a treat listening to the chefs plan how best to construct. They did recommend removing the pineapple but it was one of the stars. Just so much juice and sweetness from it. As good as jalapeno cheese is i prefer the creamy sweet brie wheel and im glad i stuck to it Red leicester, curds and bacon jam gave it a cannuck feel. There was some spice there too from pickled jalapdno. Did not want to end this.
