Our last act on our amazing trip to Australia’s west coast was to hit up RoyAL’s Chicken and Burgers in Perth. Having had such a bad experience up north in Exmouth, this was an awesome change. The burgers looked east coast worthy with good vibes and hacks galore. I went for the Stevie Wonder Burger, a fairly classic burger but I added mac n cheese (best decision). The burger itself was well made though difficult to hold (not greatest pic). The cheese was the highlight. It was IMMENSE and made better by the creaminess of the mac n cheese. The buns were soft and light, onion rings small but super crunchy and the jalapeños were there to add much needed heat. The hot ketchup and creole remoulade were amazing and plentiful. Bacon needed a little extra cooking but only downside in a really great burger. Keep it up, Perth! Good way to end an awesome 2 weeks.
