Ground control to Major Tom, all hail the Famous Trufflenator! I haven't had this incredible piece of culinary wizardry for about 12 months but graced my tastebuds with its presence this past weekend. And yes, it is still the duck's nuts of burgers. That's is ofcourse if you love a bit of truffle like me... From where the perfectly melted American cheese amalgamates with the beautifully cooked Wagyu patties, to the delicious maple bacon and glorious onion rings, this burger is greatness personified like I could only imagine waking up on next to Brigitte Bardot in her prime while watching Arsenal lift the Champions League trophy. I was greedy enough to make it a triple pattie Trufflenator for the first time and it did NOT disappoint. The creators of this masterpiece had the ratios spot on. All of this goodness finished of with that beautiful milkbun which held it all together nicely. Only one napkin was harmed during this feast. The ONLY bit of criticism I have is that I felt the patties were slightly smaller than I remember and certainly much smaller than on the photos. Other than that, this was once again a flawless experience and I thank the burger gods for blessing us with the Famous Trufflenator. Overall rating: 9/10 I am yet to encounter a unicorn.
