Same story as Gianluca_H. We ordered the burger special expecting to get what was pictured on instagram but it came out in a wrap haha. Regardless of this It was still super tasty. Came with buttermilk fried chicken, fries inside (and out), chipotle mayo slaw, liquid cheese and pickle relish. Only reviewing because i had scanned the barcode before it came out. Still a decent feed though and it’s awesome that Alberts now has a TBC code to scan.

The burgeritto special from Albert's Got this by accident with Instaham100 but despite the surprise was actually pretty good. All in all a good bit of southern fried chicken with liquid cheese and fries. Feel like a siesta. Chips were a bit much but still delicious as usual.

The ‘old mate’ - Southern style chicken - American cheese - Tomato - Spanish onion - Lettuce - Smokey bacon - Pickles - Mustard and chipotle mayo Chicken was a decent size and very succulent. this was a really solid southern style chicken burger at quite a reasonable price.

🧀🐔 Cheezy Southern 🐔🧀 . Southern Fried Buttermilk Chicken Thigh Candied Bacon Liquid Cheese Red Onion Pickles Smokey Mayo Cajun Spiced Fries St Malo Milk Bun . 🧀🐔🧀🐔🧀🐔🧀 ~ This was my second time to Alberts in the past two weeks. I was keen for a chicken day and when I saw the weekly special revealed my mind was made up. First time I tried the classic cheeseburger and it was a well made good quality cheeseburger. I’d heard the chicken here was good so I was keen to try it out. It probably wasn’t the best burger to try it out on as the cheese sauce dominated the flavour profile. I actually took the burger apart half way through to try the components as separately as I could. The chicken was cooked well. Moist throughout and the coating tasted really good. It mixed really well with the pickles and smokey mayo which really did have a nice smokey flavour to it. I’m not really sure what was meant by candied bacon. It wasn’t baked until it became almost translucent which is how I usually think of candied bacon. It was well cooked, crispy with good flavour. The fries were crispy and well cooked. Couldn’t really taste the Cajun spice through the sauces though. I like the buns here. They have a nice texture without getting in the way. If you’re a lover of copious amounts of cheese on your burgers then step right up. Certainly makes for nice burger porn, but I would rather have a little less to left the other flavours have some time in the sun.

Headed up to Albert's to stream a burger challenge for the Fatties page and grabbed some dinner. I've had Andy's beef offerings before and they're great! So thought I'd try the chicken. Overall was a little disappointed ; there are some amazing offerings in Sydney on the chicken side and given the level of his beef, didn't quite hit the mark. The burger was a good size, however the breading on the chicken was really dark and it tasted a little bitter. The meat however was juicy and tender. The lettuce and carrot was nice although nothing tans out about it: the cheese was nice and melted though!! Bun soft and sweet. Held together nicely. Overall "good" just not amazing! Fries were quite salty and a little undercooked. Nothing to write home about. Staff were friendly even though the place was really busy!!! Definitely come here for a burger but recommend the beef offerings over the chicken.
