We decided to visit Batch Burger & Espresso after discovering the restaurant we were originally planning to visit was closed. It must've been fate as this lead us to one of the best burger restaurants in North Sydney. We both ordered the Brooklyn Burger which consists of a beef patty with bacon, smoked cheddar, tomato, pickles, Spanish onion & lettuce with thousand island dressing. We added an extra patty which made the burger enormous. The meal was delicious, thoroughly enjoyable with every bite. Initially, we weren't sure of the thousand island dressing but after a few bites, it was evident these guys knew what they were doing when it came to their food!

Marinated Chicken Lettuce Cheese Avocado Mayonnaise Added Tomato Not feeling like anything in particular, I decided to try the basic chicken burger from Batch. Everything else from these guys has been brilliant, what could go wrong? Boy, was I mistaken. The first thing I noticed was that my cheese was missing. On closer inspection, it was not actually missing, it had b en marinated into my chicken. Not how I would have liked it, but Ok. The next thing I noticed was that they had done quite a horrible job balancing the burger out. Almost half of the left side was just lettuce. They make a point of telling you that this burger has "succulent, marinated chicken"; however, I found the burger to be quite dry. After a few bites, I lost my appetite, and I dont see myself going back to finish it off; something I assure you has never happened, before. Do yourself a favor and go for something - anything - else on their menu. This one is not a winner.

Great burger. The chipotle mayo is surprisingly spicy, compared to the chipotle I've had from other establishments. The grilled cheese is a welcome addition that adds that extra bit of crunch to the burger. The only down side to this burger is that they do tend to over-sauce them. I've had this burger several times, and the last half/quarter of the burger is always a giant mess, with fillings falling out and the general burger coming apart. I had mine with the Cajun fries, which I recommend for the added spicey kick. Alternatively, I'd your looking for a taste of chipotle and are not completely sold on this burger, consider taking a look at their pork overload (shredded pork and bacon with chipotle and cheese sauce on chips).

🍔🥓🍔Truffle Shuffle🍔🥓🍔 Was nearby Batch Burgers and even though theyre reviews weren't great on TBC I figured Id give them a shot It seems theyve improved on a lot of the issues people were mentioning which I love to see, what makes a good burger joint (or any business really) is when they take on feedback and work on making their product better 😁👍 I quite enjoyed the beef on this, didn't have a rissole taste or feel as was previously mentioned and hsd nice flavour, they need to think about melting the cheese onto the beef though to take it up that notch higher, cheese was still melted but would have worked better directly on the beef Truffle sauce was nice, not too strong but definitely there Onion rings lacked crunch, but this could have been due to travel time in the uber, so I wont hold that against them haha Bacon crispy and tasty and the tomato & lettuce nice and fresh Ill certainly try these guys again if im in the area 😁
