Always a solid option when visiting byron. Really enjoyable burger. The Chilli sauce has quite a kick to it, wouldn’t recommend adding if you are not an aficionado of the heat. πŸ”₯

I have a confession to make...I was so looking forward to this burger goodness, and the guy FORGOT to add chilli sauce, and because I took this bad boy back to my hotel, it was too late. I imagine this was the ancestor of the Oporto Bondi burger, the chicken was tender and juicy and everything else was divine. But I can't help but feel this would have 4.5 if I could see if their chilli sauce was da bomb. Ah wells...next time. Shout out to πŸ” The Hamburglar 213 πŸ” for his fab recommendation :-)

Ripper of a burger. Obviously everything tastes better in Byron Bay, but this burger really hit the spot. Reminiscent of my first Oporto burger back in 1997 before they became a shit chain of restaurants. The Chilli sauce was on the spicy side of hot and i certainly knew about it 😳 certainly recommend if you’re fortunate enough to find yourself in this outstanding part of the world. Washed it down with a Balter XPA which enhanced the experience.

πŸ”Έ Double Chicken Breast Fillets πŸ”Έ Lettuce πŸ”Έ Double Cheese πŸ”Έ Aioli πŸ”Έ Bacon (added) πŸ”₯ Double Chilli Sauce (added) So this was my second go at Byron Bay's version of the Oporto's Bondi burger. This time I got extra cheese and extra chilli sauce and also got bacon on it. Last time I got three fillets but this time there was four so I very happy with that. The chicken was tasty like last time but with the extra cheese and chilli sauce and the added bacon the overall experience was delicious. The bun was also better this time and wasn't so heavy as last time. It was a big burger with the extra chicken and bacon and cheese but so worth it. Also at a good price with chips and a drink. I wish Oporto would lift their game to this level but that's wishful thinking. πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

πŸ”Έ Double Chicken Breast Fillets πŸ”Έ Lettuce πŸ”Έ Cheese πŸ”Έ Aioli πŸ”Έ Chilli Sauce (added) After drinking a bunch of beers at Stone & Wood brewery it was time for a burger. I got myself Byron Bay's version of the Oporto's Bondi burger. I'm pretty sure it has the same ingredients too. I went for the double but there was three fillets so that was a good bonus. Chicken was tasty and not dry at all and the other ingredients made it a nice burger. The bun was nice and fresh but a little heavy compared to a milk bun. Overall it kicks Oporto's ass and tasted great maybe a bit more chilli would've been nice. Also there was a bit of a wait but that is expected around here I guess. πŸ”πŸΊπŸ”πŸΊπŸ”πŸΊπŸ”πŸΊπŸ”πŸΊπŸ”πŸΊπŸ”πŸΊπŸ”

A party in your mouth - Portuguese style Double Belo Chicken Burger. The perfect combo of aioli & chilli with fresh Portuguese style chicken breast fillets.
