This is called the Capital. Went back to brodburger for a couple of extra burgers. Tried out the Capital. Very heavy with the lettuce and overall the garnish dominated this burger and did not hold together too well. Meat was also a little dry, some more sauce would have helped. On a positive note, a sound burger that had a great bun and good overall flavour. I’d have the brodburger over this any day but wouldn’t be too disappointed if this was my only experience.

2x 200g flame grilled beef patties, 2x eggs, 2x crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, Spanish onion, housemade aioli, tomato relish Brodburger is a Canberra institution so I’m told, from humble beginnings as a food truck, to a parking hazard causing the government to gently nudge them in the direction of a brick and mortar restaurant. The burgers are legit. High quality ingredients, with ethically produced beef set a foundation for an incredible feed. Brodburger’s food is part food truck part takeaway shop - so no milk buns and streaky bacon here. Good old Aussie style burgers with a modern burger mentality. Bring your appetite because these are incredible filling - I definitely overestimated ordering two burgers. A trip to Canberra is not complete without a visit to Brodburger
