Interesting little creation by the Patch kitchen. The chicken here has always had an unusual lightness to it. From breaking it down in your mouth till after it hits the bottom of your stomach it always feels lighter in both weight and richness, but not in taste. I usually love that and I liked the Bao bun too, but two light ingredients together make for a burger that leaves you unsatisfied. It either needed to be bigger or the chicken needed more richness. Other than that the sauces, slaw and shallots hit the perfect spot.

I was starving by the time I got in and the first bite absolutely hit the spot. there hasn't veen a burger that's left me wanting more in a long time. love the bao bun. its denser and doughier than a normal bun, its best party trick is its ability to soak up all the sauces. not sure if patch is changing chicken or its just for this special but the 2 smaller pieces retain the famous quality with ease. dont know wtf general tso sauce is but its all sorts of funky. sweet, sour, umami and more of a paste consistency than sauce it was something new and exciting in a burger. have to give the bloke on the grill a shoutout. he was the only one in while i was there but he was making burgers, working the register, doing the uber eats stuff, delivering those fun absorbant tissues patch uses, delivering the food and showing mad courtesy to all customers. I've seen patch much busier but it wasn't quiet either and this guy really held down the fort 🤣 still kept the quality perfect and wait times minimal, something certain restaurants starting with bi and ending in addy in my area cant get right with a full team.
