located in the old chur burger store it was the only burger joint that seemed to be open before midday so my mind was made up for me. Could barely be happier with the outcome. awesome burger that stuck out to me immediately reading the ingredients. have never had more bacon in a burg, it was glorious.mostly super crisp, some wasnt but honestly bacon in any form should work. Perhaps doing maple bacon instead is the only way up. the bacon jam was pretty epic. chunky bits of caramelised bacon but not sweet as it tends to be. had more of a coffee taste to it oddly but it worked. huge points for using brie cheese. im all for places using these soft cheeses more often in their burgers. Adds everything. taste, texture, melt. winning ingredient. the only thing out of place was the bbq sauce. very smokey and i get that its a bacon burger but it didnt go with the cheese and it masked the jam abit. it almost cheapens the taste of the burger.

Angus Beef 🥩 Brie 🧀 Double Bacon 🥓 Cornichons 🥒 Cos Lettuce 🥬 Bacon Jam 🥫 American Mustard 🍼 Sweet baby Cheesus. This went down an absolute treat. The last burger I rated at Burger Me Up scored a 4/5 for a decent feed, but this just raised the bar. My dumb ass skipped over the Brie when ordering, so it came as a pleasant surprise 2 bites in. This burger is the perfect mix of creaminess from the cheese, saltiness from the pickles, sweetness from the jam, savoury from the bacon and beef and freshness from the lettuce. I would 110% recommend. Only reason it didn’t score higher was the bun didn’t quite encapsulate everything and the plate was left quite oily. Also, as a side note, the staff member who served me wasn’t aware of the Burger Collective special, so I spent 5 mins explaining just so I could get my $2 fries, even though TBC is on the door. Very little signage at the counter so hard to say it’s the staff members fault. Maybe something to have a look at @BurgerMeUp
