I love all the nerdy pop culture stuff around this place. The burgers are the real heroes though. Double beef goodness, the patty crumbles in the right places and have those nice crispy edges that only burgerheads would understand. Just wish it was more flavoursome to send this into the high 4s. The tangy ketchup kinda got lost in this messy feed too, though the crispy bacon was superb. Overall, worth a return visit :-)

🍗🍗 Double Chicken Stack - special🍗🍗 Ordered this seemingly simple burger: 🍗 Chicken breast double coated southern fried 🧀 Cheese sauce 🧀 American Cheese - 2 types 🌶 jalepenos - added 💦 srichaca This had so much promise, but it seems this place is focuses on size rather than execution. The start was good, being surprised by the beast that came out and all for $17. I was then asked if I wanted a second plate to split the 🍔 up.... ah fk no. Sorry I think you don't understand your clientele! The next downward step was the chicken. It was breast fillet (4 of them) but they were cut along the grain rather than against it. This made the chicken really stringy and was only compounded by it being dry. The double coated southern fry was quite crispy though. The only saving grace for the burger was the litres of cheese sauce combined with the added jalepenos that made it go down a bit easier. The bun was soft but there was no cheese melt - it was just a room temperature melt as can be seen in the picture. Onto the next place in the hope Adelaide can show me something better.

Was really pumped to try these burgs, but unfortunately, not amazing. The bun was dry and that was matched by the meat, no pink in it whatsoever and the real sin was the bacon, where’s the crispyness??? The cheese was on point and plenty of it. Side note, fries were soggy but the flavour was bang on, just needed to be cooked longer :)

Beef Patty, Fried Chicken, Cheese, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion Rings with Smoky BBQ Sauce and Tangy Fry Sauce This burger was phenomenal. I’ve been wanting to try it for a long time and it was well worth the wait. A little messy to eat but aside from that it was all positives. All of the flavours worked together so well. The Beef was perfectly cooked and juicy. The chicken was crispy and crunchy on the outside and nice and tender on the inside. The Bacon was delicious and so was the onion rings. Which were double breaded and incredibly crispy. The sauces also combined really well which just added to the burger. Overall, this is a fantastic burger that you should definitely check out if you are in Adelaide.

Chuck Wagon's talked up as being one of the best burger places in Adelaide, which makes this burger a bit disappointing. To hyped up for me The burgernator is a massive burger, really only because it's mostly onion ring. Look at that sad almost orange tomato slice. The beef was chewy and flavourless, and the chicken was unremarkable. Despite that, the restaurant itself is awesome, some really cool movie memorabilia and Americana paraphernalia. I'll give it another chance when I go back to ADL.
