Well, this was probably one of the most anticipated burgers of the year. I’ve been scoping the reviews, and today it became too compelling and I made the drive over the bridge, and then over that other even more wretched bridge. Fuck me, it Looked beautiful, and then I bit into it and it was saltier than the rim of a margarita glass, literally. Never have I had a burger that salted, I knew there would be salt given Richard (Ex burger head) had inspired the menu, but this was an abomination. Classic case of not putting the lid back properly, this thing was loaded. I couldn’t actually finish the burger, which was really frustrating because I drove an hour to try it, and I knew had it not been salted so much it would have been great. Having said that I don’t agree with the bun choice either, it’s too thick for smashed patties, god help me if it was a single. Usually I wouldn’t post reviews like this, but I feel like members need to know that there is the potential for hit and miss here. And I probably should have taken it back in case there was a mishap but tbh my taste buds were so rocked there was no way I could eat anything more, I could barely finish my beer which now tasted like the bottom of a surf board. Anyway, I tried, and I’ll probably head back on Sunday but I’m a little jaded now. 😞

As soon as I heard the chef was head chef at burger head I wanted one of his burgers straight away! This is a double Cheezus with added bacon with high melt cheese an pickles with social sauce!(house made) no qr yet but still definitely worth it 🤤🤤 the smashed patties were the star of the show for sure! Not sure if it was unicorn meat 🦄 but tasted so good with a crisp outer edge with some nice char to it! Now I have one fancy ass restaurant to take my wife an impress her an still get a wicked burger fix too!👍awesome stuff guys will be back.

Oh cheezus was this good! I feel like I have been reviewing things higher than normal, but then I realised nope I’ve just had fantastic burgers lately. The new dee why social is one to get to ASAP! The smashed patty was glorious, this burger is hard to fault. Super crispy outside, super juicy inside. Richard definitely knows what he is doing-although we know this. As the past burger head guy, he has now gone on to open up high street social and Dee why social. More socials coming soon👀 In the meantime go get yourself a burg from here. Make sure you get a margarita on the side🍔🍹this venue is fantastic!
