I've reviewed this burger before so I will keep it nice and short this time. The smashed patties are crazy good and it's a must to double up. Also the addition of bacon is a no brainer. This burger is a must try for any burger lover. I just wished these guys would join TBC already.

First outing to Dee Why Social but certainly not my last. Unfortunately no qr code still. I had quite high expectations and the burg lived up to them. What a burger! The beef was just spectacular. Bacon jam & bacon played their salty, delicious part. Sauce was great and there was enough of it. My wife was at a baby shower so a few of the husbands took the opportunity to get a sneaky burg nearby to kill time. If I lived near here I would come regularly as the burger was top notch.

$7.50 for one of the best quality burgers you’ll ever have.. If you’re not at Dee Why Social on a Monday (half price) then you’re doing something wrong. These onion rings are amazing, so thin yet bring so much crunch to the burger. Slightly too heavy on the mustard and the construction was a little off. No biggie, loved every bite. One of my top burgers around at the moment.

This is one of those burgers that just seems relatively standard on paper; nothing too flashy or out of the ordinary.. but fuck me did this blow me away. I feel the Miyagi was one of my tops this year due to its flavour, but this burger here is one of the tops due to its balance and overall quality. Beef and buns were some of the best I’ve ever had. In fact, since I’m a sucker for a brioche, I honestly think these are my favourite buns ever. Only downside to them was they were slightly too big for the beef, no biggie though because I was happy to eat the little bit of bun on its own. Despite people saying the social sauce was a standout, I feel the mustard mayo was the hero sauce here. I had a side of it with the chips and it’s incredible. Intense crunch from the onion rings and plenty of bacon bits in the bacon jam. Slight acidity from the pickled kick in when they need to and someone correct me if I’m wrong, but the jalapeños were just sliced not pickled? It brought so much more flavour to the burger and a subtle heat throughout. HIGHLY recommend. Such a good freakin spot AND sells waffle fries (the best type of fries) 👌 I don’t feel the owner of DWS likes us too much on TBC (Kieran and Steve Snows fault hahah).. Judging from his comments on previous reviews + the lack of a scanner. Shame, because I’m bringing people back here and I want the maximum points 😂

Sub bros back ! Angus meatballs stuffed with mozzarella, an pesto,rocket,Parmesan cheese, in a focaccia bread 🥖 ! I was a little disappointed with this to be honest! Been stinging to try this an was alright but I did expect a little more ? I added bacon like I do most things 😂 an not a fan of pesto so I ditched that to.

As my fat fingers started sliding the burgometer across, I stopped at 4.9, kept sliding to 5 and then drew it back by .1 of a point. This burger was INCREDIBLY good. The beef was perfect, exactly what I was hoping for, super juicy, smashed af and seasoning on point. Onion rings added some nice texture to the burger, high melt cheese 👌🏻 The sauce combo of social sauce and mustard mayo was drinkable. Literally bottle it up, send it to every home, there’s no longer a need for ketchup. Social sauce is here! This is the burger game, sometimes mistakes happen, clearly. This was no mistake. This was one of the best burgers I’ve eaten all year.

Goddam, look at that crust! Some seriously sweet smashing is going on in Dee Why, opposite the beach. Layered with all kinds of umami flavours - onions, pickles, mustard mayo et al - encased in a soft bun, what more do you need? Maybe a few rashes of bacon for good measure 😅

Ok came here to take advantage of half priced burgers Monday and my god was it good. If these burgers were just average it would still be crazy good value but that's not the case with Dee why social because the burgers here are absolutely too notch. The smashed pattie on the OG was cooked perfectly and so dang tasty. The bacon jam gave it a nice sweetness and the onion rings were crunchy and full of flavour. This thing is such a solid burger. I'd double it next time because the beef was that good.
