Delayed trying Fritzenberger for far too long. I didn’t know any colleagues that had tried this joint, so it was hard to gauge whether it was worth trying. It’s another simple burger done right. When a burger is simple it needs something on it to make it tasty and the sauce on this burger does that. No complaints with the burger, but the large frites (chips) were a big let down. They lacked flavour and desperately needed salt or seasoning. I couldn’t finish them. I was on the fence on how to score this burger. I had low expectations going but I was pleasantly surprised by the flavour and would personally rate it comfortably above Remy’s. I’ll definitely try Fritzenberger again.

Brewery and burger joint in one is a pretty good sell on where to go for dinner. Add some of the softest burger buns known to man... and you’re on. The burgers were good, but nothing spectacular. I had the Fritz (pictured above) which has beef, aged cheddar, hydroponic lettuce, tomato and Spanish onion (tomato removed) The beef was a little average (underseasoned but cooked well) the sauce was the saviour here, not sure what’s in it but the Fritzen sauce is a little pickle mayo ish... then the highlight is the bun. Beyond soft. Like melt into nothingness while you hold the burger type material. It defies logic and I wish I knew where they got them from.

First impressions - Very fast service! our burgers were ready in less than five minutes! The venue is very nice and has a friendly vibe. The bun was soft and beef was tasted. The maple bacon was to die for, ver sweet and crunchy. I thought the burger was a bit small for the price - $12 but given that it was so tasty and the the super fast service I find the price acceptable.
