Only had a quick lunch today so ventured out to close waters. Bun was a tad crusty, not sure if it was a tad old or a different roasting method, patty was potentially grilled at some point earlier and then kept warm via some method (colour was an odd grey). Rest of ingredients were ok, nothing incredibly stand out and nothing worth heading back for in a rush. When I first saw it I thought “yikes”, but it was actually half decent to eat which is why it’s sitting just under a 3 and not in “red waters”. I suspect they don’t have a grill or hot plate on site and if so it’s really holding them back. If they had a good cooking method, some fresher buns, got some sauce on here then it’d be a solid foundation for a good burger, but unfortunately for me it’s just a quick city eat in its current form.
