🐥Southern fried chicken breast 🥬Lettuce 🌶️Jalapeño 💦Lime aioli 🐓Rooster sauce Haven't been to the Hub in ages, since just after they changed hands when I felt they slid in quality. So this was my 'one more chance' and it was deserved. Good value for $10. The general presentation and construction wasn't up to the old standard but it tasted great. The chicken was nice and moist with a crispy coating and the jalapeños and sriracha gave a little bite and some heat. Hands down, the best component of the burger was the lime aioli. In the past I've found it unnoticeable but on this occasion it was abundant and it not only sauced up the breast, but there was heaps of lime flavour which gave a real zing throughout the burger, contrasting the hotter elements very well.

🐤Young Hen🐤 🐣Southern Fried chicken thigh 🥬Chopped lettuce 🍯🔶Honey mustard mayo +🥓Bacon +🧀Jack cheese The Hub has been my go-to lunch spot for a couple of years now thanks to their high quality and low prices but I think that might be coming to an end. It seems like they've changed management as things have gone downhill a bit. The burgs always used to come out way bigger than they looked on the menu board but the last two I've had, both chicken, have been a bit feeble. This one only had one piece of chicken and it was noticeably smaller than the bun. It's still delicious chicken, the lettuce is fresh, the cheese was a bit melted, the bacon was pretty good and the sauce is tasty. The price is good - this was $9.50 including the extras - but it was lacking its former level of quality.

🐤Young Hen🐤 🐣Southern fried chicken thigh 🥬Lettuce 🍯🔶Honey mustard mayo The Hub was heaving at lunchtime the day I bought this, and the burger suffered as a result. I asked for a beef patty and burger sauce on this but I got an extra piece of chicken and that's it. The chicken was still good but I'd been hanging out to douse it in extra sauce so it just satisfy. It's a shame the quality suffered so much in the rush but nobody's perfect.

Enjoyed this much more than the Beef At $10, this is not bad. The coating on the fried chicken was super crunchy and the chicken breast itself was cooked well but retained some juiciness. Like the previous burger, would’ve also liked some more sauce

Not a terribly bad burger (especially for $8) but compared to the picture on the menu this was a bit of a let down Beef patty was almost puck like but still edible. Also lettuce wasn’t the best. More sauce would’ve also added some points

🐮 Beef patty 🧀 Jack cheese ⚪Onion 🥒Pickles 🔶Mustard 🔴Ketchup +🐥Fried chicken +💦Burger sauce Such a good combo. Simple, reliable cheeseburger with a nice, juicy piece of fried chicken. It's not a huge piece as I added it on from a side serve, it fit nicely between the buns without threatening a workplace food coma after lunch. The chicken tastes great, a tiny bit of heat and a good mix of spices, strong enough that they don't get lost in the burger. I added burger sauce to keep the lubrication up and it was a perfect addition, masking the ketchup and mustard a bit.

Actually the... 🐤Young Hen🐤 🐣Southern Fried chicken thigh 🥬Chopped lettuce 🍯🔶Honey mustard mayo +🧀Jack cheese +🐮Beef patty I maintain that this is the best value burger joint around. $6 for a delicious, crunchy and juicy chicken burger and $3.50 extra for more cheese and a beef patty. There was heaps of honey mustard mayo this time. It's nice and creamy and has just the right amount of mustardy spice and sweetness from the honey to complement the flavour of the chicken coating.
