Served up at the excellent Huxleys Superbowl event yesterday. Standard cheeseburger affair that hit the spot without being remarkable. Considering they would have pumped out a couple of hundred of them in quick succession, the quality was commendable.

Back at Terrey Hills Tavern to do a comedy gig and went for the double chicken burger (called 2 Chicks and a Kev). Their chicken was the highlight last time and with 2 pieces, it was even better (and better cooked too, crunchy goodness).

Tried the Huxley Burger with added fried chicken at Terrey Hills Tavern. There are the makings of a good burger, but the execution was lacking. The fried chicken was a bit over-cooked and dry, and the patty was a tad burnt. Adding all these slight flaws result in a burger that could have been :-)

So a pretty basic beef burger which the special sauce was tasty as. The bun again was the highlight. Beef a little overdone which lost some points. Being a pop up there was zero hacks available which sucked cause some extras could elevate this one. 👌🏽🍔

So this was a pop up at the prince hotel at kirrawee. Had no idea it was going to be there so was impressed to turn up and see it. Overall it was a good burger the highlight was actually the bun. The only other place I’ve had a bun like this was sneaky burger. Light fluffy super soft. Jalapeño mayo was the goods too 👌🏽🍔

I actually got the cheese burger and added a chicken patty and an extra slice of cheese, This would of been a good burger if they cooked the beef a little less... yep it was over cooked and quiet dry, the flavour was a flame grilled taste but dry, the chicken on the other hand was crispy and juicy, only down fall was it was so tiny, especially since it cost $5 to add that tiny thing, and it took 45 mins for the burger to come out. I was still hungry afterwards.
