$1 Huxtaburger. It was a one hour wait but worth it.

By far the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had! Love the fact the cheese melts!

Overall it was ok. The chicken was good, the slaw was ok however it was supposed to have jalapeño mayo and I really couldn’t taste any jalapeño flavour at all. Buns were average. I would have thought for the price they would have been a nicer quality (I think it was just regular hamburger buns). My partner had the Denise with an extra patty and would also rate it average. Probably wouldn’t bother going back.

Thought I'd try something new from my local Huxtaburger today, and it reminds my why I'm often quite hesitant to leave my safe options. I decided on the Britney, as Southern Fried Chicken is often my weak spot. And while it was cooked great, it was probably my only highlight of this burger. Avocado on burgers is often a miss for me, and in this case, it definitely ruined the burger. It gave the overall texture a mushy, baby food type vibe, as the bun was already soggy. I ended up discarding the lid of the bun because it became unenjoyable. Overall, this experience was a let down. Huxtaburger is somewhere I often jump to because it's hard to find a decent burger in Ringwood that delivers, so I may just stick to the Theo next time.

I've tried the Richmond Huxtaburger a few times before, but upon learning there was a store close to my house in Ringwood, I couldn't resist a bit of a cheeky Tuesday Theo (a bit cheekier with extra bacon and cheese). Always a delicious burger and probably my favourite from the menu, I was definitely in favour of the delivery from the Ringwood store. Due to this bad boy being loaded up with condiments, I'd recommend not ordering if you live too far away. The bun does suffer the longer the wait is (being why I order it sans tomato for less messiness) but in my case today it was still crispy with some life left as I'm just around the corner. I would, however, recommend they wrap their burgers in foil like at places such as Mr. Burger for an overall easy, clean(er) experience. But flavourwise, always delicious, all the sauces work well together to give it a slightly tangy and spicy flavour, with creaminess from the mayo also. Meat patties are always juicy and succulent, the bacon is crispy, and so I think the Theo will always be a fan favourite for me. The one downfall however for Huxtaburger is I find their chips quite bland in flavour with every order, so I ended up omitting them from today's order, which is a shame as chips are vital! Definite room for improvement in that area (though I'll still allow myself to suffer by cramming in the last one).

Gave it a go to tick it off the list but wasn't expecting much. The bun disintegrated, way too much lettuce and jalapeno, sauce was nice, the beef was cooked to a nice medium rare however was bland in taste. Would not recommend
