This burger here on the left was a treat. Definitely hits the spot as a hunger buster and tastes great all. Has an overwhelming nature though due to the patty just being soaked in cheese and it hits you. I rate this highly cause all ingredients involved were fresh and cooked well some minor deductions only because there wasn’t much balance between a good time and a gluttonous time. Still highly recommend!

Had this the other week. Scored some 50cent chicken tenders with the burger purchase so it made for pretty decent value in the end. The burger itself was ok. The Slaw and sauce were quite bland. The chicken was pretty nice but nothing really stood out as amazing.

Give me a good burger and double it up, nah actually double that... give us a quad thanks 😎 The Papi: Quad patties, quad cheese, quad bacon, pickles, tomato, onions, lettuce mustard, aioli and tomato sauce 🍔 🥓 When you can’t bring yourself to hack the signature burger with any changing elements you just make it bigger with the #halfpricehacks👍🏼👍🏼 I love the hackability of the burgers here, but after our final game of the season I just wanted to experience the flavours as the chef intended them. I went for the quad and it was such a treat to eat. Look at that cheese melt 🧀🍔🥓 JB & Sons has been looking after me with post game meals, I’m going to miss my weekly trips here. Will still pop in for a sneaky one though. Go check them out if you are around the Northern beaches.🤙🏼

After choosing the OG cheeseburger at almost every burger place I go, the Papi has some edgy features that definitely make it stand out. This burger tastes so fresh, almost like a homemade burger. The double cheese really makes a difference. The meat is super tender and juicy and the bun is 10/10 (not too heavy not too sweet and holds together). Sauces are excellent. The salad components are super fresh and provide some relief. This is a super easy burger to eat, perfect size and doesn’t make you feel super sick full after. The bacon is a bit too overpowering, it tastes a bit ham-like and just doesn’t elevate the burger at all. Overall really good, but it’s a bit too homemade-like for me, I want to go out and get a burger that I couldn’t replicate at home. The Papi: -beef -double cheese -bacon -pickle -iceberg lettuce -tomato -onion -mustard -aioli -tomato sauce

The Don 🔫➕ Smoked Pulled Pork 🐖 First time to JB&Sons did not disappoint 👌 Was a tad disappointed about the construction of this one :( Never makes for a good shot when the onion rings look so lonely atop a mass of meat and cheese.. But oh well .. bloody good flavour and texture - well cooked and a juicy and overall satisfying burg all round 👍 Will definitely be returning for more 🙌

Wednesdays are for wicked burgers on Sydney’s northern beaches. There were no chips on burger this week. No hashbrowns, onion rings or deep fried jalapeños either. This one was all about that extra protein. The Bulking Papi is a glorious stack of meaty, cheesy, saucy goodness. Seriously look at the oozing lip of cheese. I’m pretty pleased with my choices here, this burger was delicious and I’d probably even say it’s the best I’ve had from JB & Sons. The pulled pork added sweetness to the well seasoned trio of patties. The extra pickles was a big win, I love pickles and should always go large on the salty little buggers. Lucky for me there were salad items on the top of this, which automatically transforms this beast into a clean treat.

The Hot Chick: fried chicken, cheese, aioli, lettuce, pickles + chicken, bacon, cheese, hashbrown and chipotle mayo Winner, winner chicken dinner! The team at JB & Sons usually encourage me to go a little bit OTT when I go in for a feed. On this occasion we came up with this little beauty. Double chicken was a good call, but with the hashbrown really needed something to bring balance the dryness. Come in chipotle mayo, I asked for lots and that’s what I got; RIP bun! This was a mess to eat, but boy it was fun.

The Papi: beef patty, smoked bacon, double cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato, tomato sauce, mustard, aioli. + extra patty, cheese, bacon + chipotle mayo + jalapeño poppers It’s becoming a Wednesday night tradition to head for beers and burgers after our game and JB & Sons have been bringing the heat. The hack game is always strong here, so I had to turn it up a notch by getting a side of cheese filled jalapeño poppers to add to the top layer. The Papi hacked is a thing of beauty. The jalapeño poppers were the best addition. Filled with cheesy goodness and deep fried in golden crumbs, they add heat, texture and gooey, cheesy goodness. Doubling up on the Papi is also a bloody good choice, although this time the beef was a little over done for me and the bacon slightly under. Regardless it was tasty as hell, the sauces combining to make up for the lack of juice in the meat. As always the burgers and Balters making hump day A o k!
