It was a mixed bag, but ultimately it was an enjoyable burger that was made slightly disappointing by a few minor draw backs. The grilled breast is delicious, and works with the blend of tomato chutney and melted cheese quite well. They had oversauced it, though, and the burger fell apart about half way through. I still enjoyed the hot sauce; it added heat without subtracting flavour. I'll be upping the ante, next time. The bacon didn't really stand out at all. There was hardly any; I find myself asking why you would bother. I'd rather start with no bacon, and pay for extra; I know I'm going to actually get bacon. Their website advertised haloumi, which initially drew my interests. However, it wasn't listed at the store. I am unsure if this is a change across all stores or just North Rocks, but I will say the burger is plenty tasty without it. All in all, I would consider adding extra bacon, if you give this one a go. Maybe ask for less sauce - maybe just hold it firmer and devour it quicker. With it's drawbacks, it was still a really tasty burger, which is why I have given it such a high rating.

πŸ” ☺ The Kukula ☺ πŸ” πŸ— Grilled Chicken Breast πŸ— πŸ₯š Mayo πŸ₯š πŸ₯¬ Lettuce πŸ₯¬ πŸ… Tomato πŸ… 🌢 Jalapenos 🌢 πŸ§… Caramelised Onions πŸ§… πŸ§„ Garlic Aioli πŸ§„ πŸ’¦ Light Peri Peri Sauce πŸ’¦ πŸ₯‘ Avocado πŸ₯‘ πŸ” Charcoal Bun πŸ” The GF thought it was a travesty that I had never been to Nandos. So she took me to Nandos.. except the local Nandos is now a Kukulas, and I'm quite glad we decided to stay. The chicken breast was tender and juicy. It went really well with the caramalised onions. I am use to a crumbed chicken fillet, but the tomato added just the right amount of crunch it needed. The garlic aioli was perfectly blended, especially with the avocado. They could have perhaps put a little more on. The peri peri was a perfect touch; I actually ordered it with lemon and herb, and it was only when I finished the entire burger that I realised the mistake. The charcoal burger was a nice touch. It was just an aesthetic influence, tho; the bun wasn't anything special in taste or texture. If there was one thing off with Kukula's, I would recommend you check your order. I was happy with my burger, even though they gave me the wrong sauce; but they screwed up my girlfriend's meal, including leaving on ingredients she took off due to allergy. We would definately still both go back, again.
