Had the lashings burger from Drummoyne’s lashings . Not bad for an old school burger however the pattie was dry and flavourless and the bun although nice for a flour bun , I now prefer the milk soft buns we now see. The pineapple was awesome!

Sometimes a hard-earned hunger needs a classic. And Lashings in Drummoyne provides a big nostalgic feed: good old milk bar style burgers. The Lashings Burger is more or less a Works/The Lot burger with all the classic ingredients: beetroot, egg, shitloads of bacon, pineapple, tasty cheese, beef, grilled onions and bbq sauce. Nothing fancy, maybe not the most 'grammable, but mighty satisfying.

Decided to hit up Lashings, in Drummoyne, a few days ago for a Danny burger. I added an extra chicken patty, beef patty, extra cheese and double bacon. Both meats was cooked very well and the bacon was crispy and delicious! Note: These burgs are best enjoyed fresh in-store, I had mine takeaway and the bottom bun was quite soggy by the time I could dig into it. Still a great shop with solid burgs!

* DOUBLE WHIPLASH (not lashings burger) * Hit Lashings up as it's only 10 minutes from mine and was in need of my Sunday burger fix. Overall the burger was pretty average. The patty didn't stand out at all and the bun obviously couldn't take the sauces as it dissolved in your hand as you are eating. A plus was it came with jalapeños and a pineapple slice which made for a good combination of flavours.
