The smashed beef patty was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the onion rings were generous and deliciously crispy. We couldn’t taste the bacon salt - it was potentially just overpowered by the other delicious flavours, so we didn’t necessarily miss it. The smoked brisket was tender and, with the beans, had a great smokiness and touch of heat. The caramelised jalapeño and onion aioli, and the double cheese added a nice creaminess. The bun was super soft as always, and added a nice hint of sweetness to the saltiness. The only thing we could think of to improve the burger would be some pickles to add some acidity/freshness. The $2 Fatties discount and free crispy seasoned fries & drink were a much appreciated bonus!

tastes better than it looks. highlight is the sweetness from the onion and brisket combo. nice heat from jalapeno but i would have preferred it left out. the beans were ok in the actual burger but wasnt a fan of them in the pile of food that fell into the box. they overpowered the brisket in both taste and texture which is unfortunate. between the buns though everything mashed well.

Ok hear me out; this burger is legit. It won’t be a unicorn for everyone, but to me this was faultless. For that, it’s scoring a perfect score as I seriously can’t take anything away from it. It’s flavours don’t knock you for 6; but each individual ingredient works in unison to tick all boxes and make an absolutely amazing burger. Ape alone; weak. Ape together; strong. (Bonus points for snagging that reference). The sauce provides a subtle heat and sweet combo, which offsets the savoruy bbq-esque flavour of the brisket and beans. The onion rings add the much needed crunch to round off this hot mess. I’m a big fan.
