Nice enough pulled pork but the crunchy onion ring really made this one. The spicy mayo was just right & all balanced. Bun was ok.

Quite nice flavours & good size although quite pricey @ $20 no chips. Buns were ok, meat was good thickness but no char and well done. Salad very fresh with nice sauce.

Happy New Year TBC!! If you ever at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast this is the burger joint to go to! I had the Cowboy which was Beef 🥩 pattie Cheese 🧀 Tomato 🍅 Pickles Too much lettuce 🥬 Raw onion 🧅 Onion rings (added) Bacon 🥓 BBQ sauce Smoky mayo The beef was juicy and tasty although very hard to see under the red lighting. Bacon like most places in QLD is cooked but not crispy. The fat is usually still about 80% white. Mine had a little too much sauce but my boys didn’t have enough. We had the sweet Jesus wings, Mac and cheese and onion rings as sides, all totally delicious. Little Freeze had his standard and loved it. Happily surprised to find Young Henry’s Newtowner on the menu.

After trying the Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict for breakfast, I decided to come back for lunch and try their Chicken burger, as the Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict was so crispy and delicous with random toppings that I didn't think it would work, but it did! This burger was massive, the chicken was crispy like rice bubbles, the flavour was sweet with a little kick and fresh from the coleslaw, great chicken from here, but next time I might ask for some chilli. The wife was craving Mac & Cheese, after yesterdays crap one, this place made up for it, as it was amazing and so cheesy.

Pretty good size burger, chicken was crispy and moist but flattened to a pulp which was unfortunate 🙄 Coleslaw and sauce went well and overall wouldn't mind a double with bacon

And the Tour De Gold Coast begins... Got on the @theburgercollectiveau to suss out some quality joints in the GC area and first stop was @theloosemoose.gc 🔥 wasn’t in the mood for beef so opted for the 🍔Kentucky Chook🍔 I have to say this burger got things rolling, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the seasoning tasted amazing with the crispy finish. This burger was pretty simple in terms of ingredients but the combo of sauce worked really well with the slaw which there was plenty of. Would rate this burger higher but the cheese was unfortunately on the bottom of the burger and not melted, still a good start to the Tour 💯 ✅@nickzburgez Approval Rating 8.4/10✅
