Up in Bris Vegas for an overnighter so time to tick off another CBD burger joint...heard great things about Miel Container and they're bang on. This simple beef burger has some of the best BBQ saucy onions ever haha, crunchy and mixes in quite well with a delicious patty that is smacklicking good. They kinda burnt the bun and the lettuce is a tad too much but overall, this is another solid win for Brisbane Burgers.

Had the Beef pattie burger again for lunch today and even though it was a little over cooked the flavour from the dripping sauces knocked my taste buds for six. A sensational burger as always and the fries with confit garlic aioli sauce made for a fantastic meal. P.S. for a great roll/sub try PJ Steaks at West End or Fortitude Valley. They make good tasting food and I highly recommend the chips!

Whenever im I Brisbane, this place is the first stop. Never fails. The mozzarella burger is a gluttonous feast that takes a different spin on things. Deep fried mozzarella with macadamia nuts in a mushroom sauce is a great combination! On top of everything, the fries and onion rings are amazing too!

In my opinion this is the gold standard for burgers. I've been going to Miel Container since they opened their Brisbane store in 2013 and they have been consistently serving up top quality burgers that are full of flavour since then. While I've tried other burgers on the menu I keep coming back to the beef pattie burger. The burger drips with tasty sauces (onion jam, dill Mayo and chutney) and comes with a grass fed beef pattie, lettuce, tomato and bacon on a brioche bun. The burgers are fully customisable so you add or remove whatever you like including a deep fried mozzarella pattie. While the bun has a tendency to fall apart this does not bother me personally. I'm more interested in eating a tasty burger. They recently stopped serving chips with the burgers so they're now an extra cost, but I would highly recommend you order the chips with aioli sauce. The chips are thick cut and covered in a tasty salt and the aioli sauce is top shelf. The burgers are filling on their own and together with a serve of chips you won't leave still feeling hungry. Back in 2016 Matt Preston and Gary Mehigan judged Brisbane's best burger (I wouldn't normally value their opinion on normal people's food) and the Miel beef pattie burger came out on top. A must try if you're in Brisbane city.

Great burgers. All were very tasteful. Buns are nice and taste fresh. Meat is of high quality as are the other ingredients. Unfortunately they stopped serving free fries with the burgers but that's the only con.

Very good, presented nicely. Was able to taste the beef better than the other burger I had from them. Light pink, a little grainy, but flavoursome. Cheese kransky, American cheddar, pickles, tomato, mesclun lettuce, a mustard pickle sauce and blue cheese sauce round this one out.

Mozzarella Cheeseburger: Beef, truffle oiled mushroom, mesclun lettuce, tomato, macadamia nuts, crumbed mozzarella, sour cream and tomato sauce. Very solid, I was definitely too ambitious to tackle this so soon after eating a burger and fries for lunch. Beef was nice but couldn't really taste it much as there was a lot else going on. Truffle flavours overwhelmed (in a good way) and was kinda cut with the sour cream. Mozzarella Patty wasn't as melty as some places do it so the burger held up pretty well. Loses a couple of decimal points only because I couldn't really tastes the beef, but the texture of the patty was ideal. Couldn't finish the fries but the onion rings were great, the fries were solid too - thick cut fries seasoned with rosemary.
