Cheezy ma Neezy: 4 smoked cheese sauce, tomato and mustard sauce, westomnt ghost chilli Pickles, 2 beef patties, bacon, brioche bun. Love having the time to stop off at Ministry Cafe, apart from being a great place for burgers, it's a top joint for milkshakes too. I've had the cheat meal, and it blew my food coma induced mind. Unfortunately, this burger falls a fair bit short. The 4 cheese sauce is smokey, cheesy, and oh so damn tasty. Defiantly onto a winner here. It's the first sensation to greet your taste buds, and mine sung to the heavens when that cheese landed! It's a good mix of cheeses too, a little salty, gooey....and smooth. This burger is SMOOTH! Unfortunately, that's where I get let down a bit. The Pickles, supposedly 'ghost chilli' westmonts? Well, I got no chilli, I barely got the tang. In fact I had more tang from the mustard than I did the Pickles, so it's a big let down. The patties, are cooked well done, firm (which isn't a bad thing), but also a bit bland. Especially when the cheese sauce is working so hard to give flavour, the patties could use a little pizzaz. Not a bad Pattie, just not enough to help lift the burger. The bacon (middle cut) does add a little salt and flavour, and the bun holds brilliantly. Altogether a good feed and worthy of a look (If only for that smoked cheese sauce), but definitely a shame about those pickles and beef.
