Had heard good things about miss Kay's all the way down in Sydney so first stop when hitting Brisbane and the GC had to be Miss Kay's. Got the classic cheese burger and add a piece of chicken and onion rings. Damn this thing was goooood, the beef was cooked really well medium rare and the chicken, though not crispy was flavourful and juciy AF. Quick service here too, though busy the burger came out within 10mins. Overall really liked this place and the burger was top notch an easy 4.5 / 5

**This burger wasn’t on the list of standard burgers to choose from and I couldn’t choose which store (I went to the Miss Kay’s in Brisbane City** Miss Kay’s Hot Box (lasagne topper) burger: Had to give this burger a go as soon as I saw it as a limited time only special. Having only been introduced to lasagne toppers a few months ago, and knowing how good they are, this was not an opportunity to be missed. When they first opened Miss Kay’s were fantastic; unfortunately the quality went down hill from there and I haven’t seen anything new on their menu that has tempted me to go back until now. Apart from the oversized buns this burger was pretty close to flawless. The burger consists of a beef patty, American cheese, lasagne topper, neopolitan sauce, lettuce and the bun. The beef patty was cooked well, the neopolitan sauce was really nice and the lasagne topper gave it the extra dimension to take it to another level. Not sure what happened with the bun sizing, but the ratio was clearly a bit off. All told I didn’t go in with high expectations, but I left very impressed with the burger. Definitely will go back before they take it off the menu. At $14.95 the burger is, in my opinion, great value for money. The regular side of fries I ordered with the burger was pretty light on the tasty seasoning it comes with so ask for extra seasoning.
