Taking the flying moe to a whole new level- what if we took the Smokey Moe and the Flying Moe, gave them a romantic date, a little wine and some smooth moves... you picking up what I’m putting down... yeah well they spent the night together and now the Smokey Moe has given birth to a delectable creation mixed with pork, kraut, onion rings, crackle, some special sauce plus a crunchy nut chicken thigh and a little peanut butter for comfort... yep Moe will create your ultimate burger fantasy with just a whisper in his ear... if your a burger enthusiast (ive eaten a few in my time!) Moe’s is DEFINITELY a kick arse joint you HAVE got to visit!

A good burger in my opinion has bacon on it, this delicious burger has spiced maple bacon and for me it qualifies as a great burger. That beefy goodness is so tender and tasty. 👌🏼

Legit burgers here from the nicest bloke in the Illawarra. The sides are incredible particularly the gems, that Vegemite Mac n cheese and the chicken bites. Been here a number of times in the past 2 months and hasn’t disappointed yet. Now one of my favourite places to eat on the coast.

Ross Kemp on Burgers 🍔

First time visiting Moe’s down South, the burger scene is really growing here. It so exciting when these hotspots start to grow and more people throw their buns in the ring. I’m going to start with the Cereal Milk, yes that’s right, these guys sell cereal milk! That stuff that sits in the bottom of your bowl after scoffing down that bowl of sugar! I got the fruit loops flavour, it was so good and a cool innovation on a milk shake, I’m a big fan. Onto the burg. Chargrilled Angus, two types of cheese, Parmesan and cheddar, pickles, spiced maple bacon (🤤🤤🤤), house BBQ and truffle sauce. I really enjoyed everything on the burger except for the BBQ sauce. I honestly couldn’t put my finger on it but the flavour I was getting was like the bourbon/whisky that MAY have been used (sorry if it wasn’t) hadn’t been cooked off properly. The overall experience was awesome and the space is super cool - think basement vibes with arcade machines. Keen to work my way through the rest of the burger menu. Oh, they do Monuts too, freshly dropped to order, every week has a special injection to add also, this week was the spiced maple syrup, these were seriously some of the best donut bites I’ve ever Hamza

Had the special: Holy Moely. This had an immense amount of different flavours, that worked so well together. Crunchy but corn flake chicken, spicy mayo, streaked maple bacon; hacked with a cheese croquet. I saw only limited reviews, so decided to try for my self, and was pleasantly surprised! My only criticism was that the patty needed a little bit longer to cook, however, was seasoned beautifully and was absolutely fantastic!

This was the best of the lot. No taste of crunchy nut cornflakes, which I was very curious about, and for the life of me, could not sense the black garlic, which should have punched me in the mouth hole. Chicken was juicy and crunchy, if a little overdone and the slaw was nice. Same burn-y buns.

This had the same bitter burnt bun taste, patty was ok, but there was no spiced maple on the bacon, and definitely no truffle taste. It tasted weird AF to be honest. There was something going on in there that messed my mouth up. It was like when they put the pickles on, they trailed a fistful of pickle juice with it.

This place has been on my list for a while. Hard to get to as they’re only open for 2 hours a night. This Is their basic cheesy. It COULD be good, but it’s not. They toast their buns on the char grill, so all you can smell is burnt bread when you eat it. I added bacon, and for $4 the amount I got made me more than a little grumpy. It was char grilled too, so tasted like a crematorium. The patty was actually decent, even though it was cooked through. The buns are brioche, which I’m unfortunately very much not a fan of. Save yourself the trouble.
