Buttermilk fried chicken, bacon, cheese, house made BBQ sauce and OG’s blue cheese sauce

Decided to cop the $15 off deal at doordash and finally try out the chicken burger from original burgers go. Firstly the bun managed to not be soggy for once. The bun was chewy and soft and didn’t fall apart after eating this burger. The chicken itself was okay, wasn’t too special and probably had a little hint of seasoning. The sauce itself let me down a bit. They put in a blue cheese sauce with BBQ sauce and still there was not much taste to it. The American cheese complimented the chicken and worked fine but it was a bit too overwhelming as the taste was pretty strong. I couldn’t notice but the bacon tasted pretty bland as well and that was not expected. Literally if they just put more effort into seasoning then this would have been a good burger instead of something average.

🍔🍔 Chicken Burger 🍔🍔 * Buttermilk Fried Chicken * Bacon * American Cheese * BBQ Sauce * OBC Blue Cheese Sauce My one and only visit to OBC was quite some time ago, but I clearly remember the burger I had that day. Their monthly special was The Nachos Chz Ya and that burger was delicious AF. So on my recent return I was hoping to experience something similar. I opted for the chicken burger this time around and to be honest it didn't get close to the level The Nachos Chz Ya was. Okay so straight off the bat I noticed iceberg lettuce on my burger but that's not on the ingredients list. In all the previous reviews there is also lettuce on this burger, but I couldn't find anyone mentioning why is there iceberg lettuce. So this was obviously not a mistake so why don't they add it on their menu? Also the chicken was not too bad in taste but the size of it was way too small. It was more of the size you would expect from a quail burger. My favourite thing of this burger was the blue cheese sauce. It was definitely the star for me. It was an all right burger but after my first experience here left me on such a high note, I was left a bit disappointed after this one. I probably would return if they bring The Nachos Chz Ya back but otherwise I'm afraid I probably won't.

The buttermilk fried chiggen burger is oft done poorly and provided as a weak attempt to satisfy conventions of the burg industry. But credit where credit is due - the folks down at Originals know how to deliver a genuine deep fried bird layed out on a soft bun. Not too oily - the chiggen offers a delicious bundle of flavour coupled with the bacon and cheese. The sweet buns were soft and delicate but firm enough to hold the package of goodness firmly in place as my barry beeth went to work. The iceberg lettuce - fresh as an 18 year-old hitting Greenwood for the first time - gently cradled the chiggens deep fried remains as it made its final journey. To round of the exquisite experience was the sauce, complimenting the tasty meal in mouthwatering style to add that final touch of flavour that almost makes you toey. For a deep friend chiggen burger, you could do a lot worse than at Originals.

These burgers are hard on the camera, but they taste pretty good. They’re small. Urbun buns are a ‘tidy’ size, and when the meat doesn’t fill the bun, it’s small. It leaves room for double burging, which is pretty much the only way I roll. But I ended up with a good 3 bites of empty bun on this one. Chicken was tasty, juicy, but the blue cheese sauce ended up on the wrong burger. The bacon was cooked fine, but it was a very small portion. I only had bacon in a couple bites.

Last night thought to myself I am going to spend my Tuesday doing a crawl at the shittest drive from home and tick these off the list. Brookvale-manly it is. Firststop on my tbc adventure and I am told we are no longer with the collective...even though they have tbc stickers on front door. Ok no problem this isnt a new pro8blem. The burger itself is super simple but just works. I can honestly say this is one of the few times i enjoyed cheese with basically no melt. Bbq sauce and bacon gave it that kids sunday leak brekky roll feel. The chicken itself was crispy, moist and great size. Lettuce were crunchy. Strong burger with very basic ingredients
