🥓🐮🍔PATTYSMITHS DOUBLE W/BACON🍔🐮🥓 •This for me was a redemption burger from the guys at PattySmiths after a less than desirable last year I was back and what better way than going back to my first burger from these guys💯💯 •They were in my top 3 burger joints from Melbourne for a reason and this verifies it, smashed patties with amazing flavour, the combinations are perfect with the sauce to cheese ratio being spot on, wish I had space for their chicken, waffles and ice cream as that has to be one of my favourite desserts out 🔥🐮 ✅@nickzburgerz Approval Rating 9.2/10 ✅#NICKZBURGERZ

Had this burg at Templestowe last week, it scanned as Flemington. Neither of the staff serving had ever heard of TBC, even though there was a sign on the counter, but they were good enough to give us the TBC free fries offer anyway. I made this a quad beef, and swapped out the bacon for maple bacon. Even the quad beef wasn’t a very big burger, so If you’re hungry prepare to load up. Regret not adding some fresh onion into the mix. There wasn’t much sauce on offer in the burg, so most of the burger I could just taste the beef and cheese, which were nice but nothing special. Only one bit of bacon on there too, and it was served lying sideways in one of those little box/holder thIngs, so a lot of the patties and cheese fell out the back of the burg.

This was next level! Dropped in for a catch up with Mena from Pattysmiths last night... he whipped up this absolute beauty. Fried Chicken burger less the slaw and added a beef patty. As you can see, the patty is about as smashed as I’ve ever seen... which I’m all about. It was literally like a beef pancake but still juicy as fuck. The chicken was super crunchy and being thigh was super succulent. Paired with chipotle aioli and BBQ sauce for a god damn winning combo. Pattysmiths has absolutely solidified themselves into my top 5 with this bad boy.

First burger in Melbourne of 2019, and it shall not be the last! This was a pleasant surprise, the patty did it's thang, and the blend of sauces was not as messy as I thought, I could taste the mustard, their PS sauce and ketchup, giving it a nice tang that lasted throughout. A neat and clean burger, akin to Burger Project and co. Only regret was not getting the double, but it makes me want to go back for more.
