Burger #1 of the Melbourne tour... Not just the first burger of the trip... but the best. The Kavorka ... but on steroids. Base burger was: 🐔Crispy fried chicken 🥗Coleslaw 🧀Cheesy sauce 🥒Pickles 💦Chipotle mayo. Now to the hack 🐔Extra chicken 🐖Bacon 🌶Jalapeños ++++ Liquid cheese pour!!!! This burger was clinically good. There is something about a burger when the flavours come together seamlessly... Is just bliss. The chicken was super juicy, and it was titty meat rather than thigh. Coleslaw was creamy without taking over the cheese sauce, bacon added every magical thing it should. And a touch of heat from the jalenpenos. And just to be a Muppet, I added a tub of cheese sauce for shits and giggles. See the comments for anothe pic. This my Melbourne staple and it should be yours. Get on this like a fat kid on a smarty.

A really good burger cooked just right. Mac and cheese was crunchy on the outside and gooey inside. The special sauce/ mustard balanced with the cheese perfectly

When in Chadstone... eat Royal Stacks. Went for the classic Miss Elizabeth, without the Mac and cheese, because winter weight is a real thing... As always, quality beef patty cooked well, soft bun and the best sauce in a burger ever created. At $11 odd it’s a fucking belter 👌🏽

I did make some changes. I got rid of the coleslaw and pickles and added mac and cheese. Well I'll say it was impressive, the chicken was moist and crispy, mac and cheese cooked just right, sauce had lovely flavour and cheese all over. In hindsight also adding bacon would have made it perfect

Day 2 in Melbourne and this time I tried out @royalstacksau for the first time. Was in Chadstone and had planned ro visit St Burgs but it seems to no longer be there and if ot is im a full gumby cunt who couldnt find. Opted for the Saint Burg. Very good burg, nice slightly pink patties. my only gripe with it is the bun is sweet but ill survive.

I’ve only had this without the Mac n cheese croquette a handful of times... It’s actually insane how good this burger is with just 4 elements: Australian Beef Patty Swiss Cheese Truffle Mayo Signature Bun As far as simple burgers go, this is it for me. My Favourite basic burger

Actually the special: 🧢Fitted Burger👔 🐮Beef patty 🍅Tomato 🥬Lettuce 🧀Cheddar 🌶️Jalapeños 🍝🧀Mac & cheese croquette 🌶️⚫💦Chipotle BBQ & Truffle mayo sauce After finding St. Burgs at Chadstone has closed down, I was glad to have Royal Stacks as a back-up now that their Chatswood store has disappeared. The truffle and BBQ was a surprisingly good combination. The truffle was fairly subtle with the smokey bbq the stronger flavour, which is good as I sometimes find truffle overpowering. The mac & cheese was spot on with a satisfyingly crispy shell and gooey guts. Jalapeños weren't too hot, with a good crunch and some sweetness. Everything else was well balanced too.
