Working down the road from these guys this week so thought id give em a crack! What a trip out trying to find these guys online to see if they were open for business atm, kept searching for smashed burger and only found some place overseas After a while i came to realise theyve changed there name from smashed to slashed burgers , im assuming that its because they dont do smashed pattys (they opened up before the craze of smashed pattys really took off) Now for the burger, wasn’t expecting big things being $8 cheeseys, wacked another patty on for a total of $11 (bargain 😮) and away I went, patty was nothing special, little risole-ish but not horrid, salads were nice and fresh, and sauces decent All in all it was a step above your average takeaway shop but not up yo todays gormet burger standards

Beef steak was medium rare which I asked for. Bun was fresh and soft. Capsicum was a good addition which I’ve never really had before. All in all a good burger. Only real negative I would say was the price point. Ended up coming to $19 with normal fries and drink. A $19 burger meal, for me, has to knock your socks off.

🔹 Beef Brisket 🔹 Bacon 🔹 Beetroot 🔹 Caramelised Onions 🔹 Cheese 🔹 Lettuce 🔹 Tomato 🔹 Mustard Aioli This small shop is across the road from Harry's Cafe de Wheels in Woolloomooloo. The burger was a bit below average but was only ten dollars. The brisket was okay but the bacon was very undercooked and wasn't enjoyable. The other ingredients were fine but nothing really stood out for me. The ingredients sound great but the burger was like one you get at a fish and chips shop. Not a shop that does only burgers. Still worth giving them another go when I'm in Woolloomooloo next.

This is the place I will bring someone on a first or second date... affordable and tasty burgers with healthy side options so not getting judged. Also quiet but amazing views of anchored ships The meat is roasted and pulled making it juicy and tender... it’s good meal for a very good price

When in Woolloomoolloo, eat at Smashed Burger. I didn't know what to expect and was a little hesitant when I walked in to an empty shop. Super friendly and quick service, and really well priced at $12 I wigged out a bit at the thought of not having a beef patty in the burger, but this brisket is slow cooked for 18 hours (I think) and it's super soft and tasty. I subbed out the tomato and beetroot and added BBQ sauce for a tasty tasty burg. Shout out to the buns for being super fluffy inside and crunchy on the out.
