If there is one thing I love almost as much as burgers, it's smoked meats. Combine them together and I get weak in the knees. Besides the obvious beef short rib there wasn't really much else to this burger. In saying that my beef short rib was delicious and juicy. The bone came out with such ease. I definitely miss the Ribwich from Wise Monkey BBQ & Grill.

This burger was damn tasty, the smoke beef short rib in the burger was so tender and succulent. The slaw was perfect with the right consistent crunch and it was bloody satisfying to pull that bone out of the meat.

🥩Smoked Beef Short Rib 🧀Cheese 🥗Slaw  🥒Pickles   This has been on my list ever since it opened, when I found out I was a 5 minute walk away I had to go along with trevvyy93 The price is very northern beaches but the short rib is worth it, this place is known for its moist meats 😉 and this was so tender and juicy.  Short Rib looked a little on the well done side and it didn’t have that clean bone pull.  Cheese was a nice addition and the slaw and pickles were minimal.

After having the short rib as part of their BBQ platter (super juicy, super tender) I was really keen to try this. Was a little bit let down as the texture and flavour of the short rib wasn’t as on point as it was a couple of days before. The short rib was much chewier and less tender and didn’t have that fall off the bone texture. Other things that couldve made this better wouldve been if the cheese had been melted a little more as it was still pretty solid That said this was a very meaty sandwich, and in that sense very good value. I’m sure on another day this might’ve been amazing. Perhaps add more of their smoky bbq sauce, that stuff is tasty

Good burger ? Yeah Worth $30 ? probably not. Don’t get me wrong the rib was amazing, but other elements tended to let the burger down. Saved by the final few bites which were probably the best. Not quite a 4, but pretty good. The pickle was hidden and I forgot about it so that was a nice surprise.

Almost ordered the Ribby McRibface but their burger of the month, The Britzel, looked too irresistible so opted for that instead. Turned out to be a brilliant move. Even though The Britzel is a deep fried brisket schnitzel burger it's more premium than rustic. That's a good thing! The chimichurri, slaw and brisket create a balance of perfect burgery goodness. The warm and cold components are so balanced, its a perfect treat! The schintzelifying technique doesn't really work on the brisket in my opinion though. When you bite into it it's mostly just brisket which is great just by itself. A separate crispy fried element would have been the better choice.

This is quite different to the standard burger so I feel the review isn’t the most accurate comparison, but here we go anyway. This was freakin delicious, if you’re a fan of American BBQ (which you are) then you need to visit this place. The burger is simple; coleslaw, short rib and cheese but it works so well. The rib slides out of the meat with easy and it’s incredibly juicy and tender. Slightly fattier than I would have liked for a burger, but that’s expected from the short rib. Also had the Philly loaded fries (special), which is essentially a philly cheese steak on fries, also great. Big let down is the price - $44 for the burger and fries 😮😮 Next time will be getting the bbq platter 👌
