Review of the "Cult Burger" (yes that is spelt correctly 😉). This burger popped my peanut butter 🍒, and it was epic!!! 2 X 150g beef patties, bacon jam, streaky bacon, cartel sauce, cheese, onion... All smothered in crunchy peanut butter. This just blew my mind, I don't know how the peanut butter gelled so well with the rich medium cooked beef patties and bacon but it did. The peanut butter didn't dominate, rather creating this flavour I can't describe. It drew the BBQ flavour out of the meat, adding a creamy tone. Add in a handful of brined jalepenos and this went close to being my first unicorn but I took a bit off as I think some fried chicken or a fried mozzarella patty could improve it. Well done chef👍

Take a great cheeseburger and add: 🐷 bacon - just a given! 🐷 bacon jam - drool 🥬 slaw 🌶 jalepenos ‼️ extra 150g beef patty. Hot dam, this just came out as beefy and bacon goodness. The slaw cut through the beef nicely without overpowering it. Jalepenos added that heat it required. Super solid feed.

Review of the special ‘the Larroquette Po Boy’. Um... this should come with a user warning, "two burgers in one". Talk about VFM. This was deceptively massive. Envisage a 12" super soft sub with epic southern fried chook, crunchy slaw (not the plain creamy crap) and a melody of hot sauces. Add jalepenos for shits and giggles. Couldn't stop, and didn't leave me with a food coma. I'm still full and I had it for lunch!

🇺🇸Review of the Chicken Texas🇺🇸 Southern fried chicken, McClure pickles, Spanish onion, lime mayo, TS, double cheese and bacon. Extra crispy southern fried chicken burger (thigh) with heaps of sauce, right on. Only improvement would come with a more focused lime mayo, the flavour got lost with all the awesomeness that was going on. Cheese was melted perfectly as always. Jalepenos added that nice hint of hear too.

🐔 Classic Fried Chicken 🐔 🐓 southern fried chicken - hacked as a double 💦 Soul Cartel sauce 🍅🥬 vegetarian ingredients 🧀 double American cheese Nicely cooked chicken thighs, juicy and crispy, oven melted American cheese, plenty of pickles and a lightly toasted bun. Solid burg but not blow you of your feet. Needed a hit of Frank's or some jalepenos, and some strips of bacon goodness to take it up a notch. Should have let the green stuff slide as well. On a side note, the $1 chips are the best going around. Love the seasoning.

A decent, yet unremarkable offering in Canberra. It was almost pretty good, but just fell short for me. Nice char on the perfectly cooked patty was the redeeming feature. Special mention to the absolute fastest Deliveroo I’ve ever had. Pretty sure it was Lance Armstrong on the pushie.

🍔🍔Chicken Texas Special🐔🐔 Soul Cartel are bac open at the Canberra CIT campus, FK yeah!!! 🐔 signature fried chicken 🐷 bacon 🇺🇸🧀 American cheese 🌰Onion 🥒McLure pickles 💦Chipotle lime ketchup Holy sht it was good to be able to get a feed from the best burger makers in Canberra. Unfortunately their renowned cafe closed, but someone else opened this one up late last year. This burger was like biting into a metaphorical comfort blanket. It brought happiness and memories flooding back. The fried thigh chicken was crispy and juicy, seasoned well and complemented by the lime ketchup. Add perfectly melted cheese, piggy goodness and I was reliving days gone by. This is why we love food! $1 chips too just make it epic. With the 'beast' on the menu (youll know if you have had it), I reckon it will be on the agenda shortly.

Forgot to scan and didn’t grab the receipt, oops. Not Your Average Rodeo 150gm patty Double American Double bacon Crispy onion rings Pickles Bacon jam (added) Chipotle lime mayo Burger sauce On a milk bun Down in Canberra for a music festy, this along with Burger Hero look the best so decided to give it a whirl. The patty is cooked over a flame grill giving it a nice char and that real meaty, char flavour you get when you get a steak from a pub. There was heapssss of crispy bacon, heaps of crispy onion rings so the burger had the crunch factor down pat. The sauces and pickles gave the burger the sweetness and tang needed to balance. I reckon a bit of lettuce and tommy wouldn’t go astray either. The bacon jam wasn’t noticeable, got lost in the rest of the flavours unfortunately. Had I been hungrier I’d have gone the beast, which looks sensational. One day. The popcorn chicken and the gems we got were real good as well,,along with the sauces, Kewpie Mayo, blue cheese, bbq, and aioli.
