It is hard to make a simple classic great. Sunset Diner has done it, well done, with their double cheese cheeseburger. The fish burger too was extreme quality fish and well rounded flavours, for both health and simplicity. My friend had the same, being national cheeseburger day with the mandatory second burger being the Katsu special. I have just moved to this area and I’m glad you are my new local Highly Recommended...

first time out beaches way in a long time and decided to hit up a burger place for something different. looked like a cheesy special for national cheeseburger day and it was a ripper. beef was top notch with great cheese melt. really well done cheesy that hit the spot nicely on this day.

different but very tasty burger. pork katsu was moist and tasty and the Japanese curry had really good flavour. bit of cheese and this would be a banger.

Great fish burger. The jalapeños with pickles are awesome. Looking forward to trying the rest.

First up the quality of this photo was inversely proportional to the quality of the burger. Apologies to the Diner. A soft fluffy bun giving way to juicy chicken breast coated just perfectly. The pickled ginger cuts through nicely and the sauce with a hint of sesame. Gets better with every bite.

🍍🍔The big kuhuna 🍔 Double beef smashed patties 🐮 Double cheese 🧀 Pickles 🥒 Mustard 💦 Teriyaki pineapple 🍍 Teriyaki mayo 💦💦 Tbh the kahuna burger wasn’t much to look at but they absolutely nailed the flavours in this one ! Couldn’t fault it at all an the only thing that could make this burger a 5 would possibly some crunchy bacon an maybe more patties lol 😂 . The kahuna is up front an a single lux burger behind!

Sunday morning Didn't go quite to plan when I went for a surf and my fin decided to have a bit of a dig at my face. Ended up getting a couple of stitches. Shitty morning called for an epic feed so I cruised up to sunset diner for the katau burger. For some reason the chicken wasnt the normal chicken they use for the katsu (they used their normal fried chicken) but it didn't phase me as it was just as delicious. The combo of the ginger, mayo and bbq sauce is the real deal and makes this burger pop. Love this burger and love this joint.
