This was a monster burger! Loads of flavour and messy as hell. I went through three napkins eating this! Great value at $11 ($16 in a combo).

My local burger joint, always consistently great! This is your classic takeaway burger joint that'll never let you down! Two big juicy beef patties, fried onion rings, crispy bacon, mustard and tomato relish. All round slappa this one

Look this certainly isn’t the prettiest burger but hear me out. For 11 bucks this is one hell of a burger TWO beef patties cheese and onions rings... it’s awesome value that hits the burger craving spot. Yes the buns may not be the best and there is no “special” sauce but this burger is no doubt a solid feed.

So i went to windsor on the weekend with the family and we decided to get a burger for lunch, stopped in at this wonderful place and copped this delicious feed. Perfectly cooked beef and and everything you could want on the burger as a compliment, the bakery style chips made this encounter one to remember as well, all for around $16 per person.

🍔🍔🍔 BIG CHARLIE 🍔🍔🍔 🥩 Double Beef Patty 🧀 Double American Cheese 🌰 Battered Onion Rings 🥓 Bacon (added) 🥒 Gherkin (added) 💦 Chilli Mayo (added) 💦 Herbed Mayo (added) 💦 Tomato Relish & Mustard 🍞 French Style Bun Made in House I feel this photo doesn't justify how bloody huge this burger really is.This is my second time having the Big Charlie and my plan was to hack it Bacon Jam but they don't have it anymore so I was put on the spot with alot of ppl behind me and I just started adding whatever I could think of which explains why I have 4 kinds of sauce 😂. Once again I couldn't taste the tomato relish, probably gets lost inbetween the chilli mayo and mustard which were the two sauces I could taste. The French Style buns are much bigger than your regular buns and have a very different texture , like a flakey crispy crust but still a very soft bun. Flat style beef patty but they are a bloody massive round circles. Loads of crispy bacon. Love the battered onion rings here, look how bloody huge it is. Cheese melted beautifully. Just your regular store bought Gherkins cut up into chunks, not really a fan.

🍔🍔🍔 BIG CHARLIE 🍔🍔🍔 🍖 Beef patty x2 🧀 American cheese x 2 ✔️ Onion rings 🥓 Bacon (added) ✔️ Chilli mayo (added) ✔️ Tomato relish & mustard 🍞 House made bun Wife had given birth to our 4th Child at Hawkesbury hospital and before you know it, it's dinner time 😀 the wife wanted Thai and I wanted a burger of course 😂. Thai and The Grill on George just around the corner next to each other *win* ... it was time to give these guys a crack. This place is only 15 mins from me anyways but I've always been hesitant to give it a crack because I felt it was just a glorified regular takeaway shop but I recently seen they bake their own bun in house , okay maybe this is the real deal. The burgers are huge and bloody cheap, this bad boy is $11.00 with $1 add on for bacon. The beef patty is a massive flat round circle , it was cooked through but still nice and juicy. They melt the cheese on the patty while cooking and then they blow torch it, so I was impressed with that 😁 .The onions rings are bloody fantastic with thick a crunchy coating and the burger is loaded with them. The bun is classified as a french bun and the best I can describe it is like some hybrid baguette bun, with a light crisp flakey crust but still airy and soft. For a $1 they put a good amount of bacon and it was just crispy enough to keep me happy. I added to the Chili mayo which had a little kick of heat but was very tasty, the tomato relish well I couldn't see it or taste it, my guess they left it off. Overall impressed except that they dont have pickles or jalapenos 😱 meaty burger like this needs it, will need to have a word with them 😀 but I did notice afterwards they do bacon jam add on for $1, spewing. They do like 20 different burgers, crazy ... So plenty of burgers i can hack. Might give the pork chop one a crack.

I can still feel my arteries unclogging hours after eating this burger. The Grill on George is pretty famous around the Hawkesbury, probably because it's the only semi-decent burger shop most people who live in Windsor know about. Honestly, I know people who say The Grill is the best burger place around, but when I ask them what else they have tried, "Maccas" seems to be the common response. This was my first decent burger at The Grill. I live in the area, I've had almost every beef burger on the menu, including this one exactly how I had it today. Why was today's better? Simply because it didn't fall apart leaving me eating it the way you eat the meat that drops out of your kebab into the bottom of the wrapper. It actually stayed together. Like, completely. I had The Big Charlie with bacon. Double meat, triple cheese, onion rings, tomato relish and mustard. I've always said this burger should already have bacon on it, it's a savory burger. All Grill burgers come out piping hot, and I was a bit disappointed to see my cheese wasn't melted through properly, but that was their plan all along. The burgers are wrapped up in the paper, keeping them hot and the cheese melts as you eat. Genius, fresh melted cheese that won't go hard from cooling, because it doesn't get a chance to cool. The onion rings are a much better option than the regular onion The Charlie (single) has. The relish was a mild flavour that tried to break up the savory, and the burger wasn't smothered with mustard like it normally is. By far my best experience here, but I won't be rushing back anytime soon. They are fine burgers for the area, but the theme here is big burgers for the sake of being big burgers, and most of the time, quality beats quantity.
