sold out of patties so subbed in brisket. trying out Vic's for the first time and was very disappointed that they didn't have patties available today. decided to stick with a burg but sub brisket in. the brisket was great, also had the platter for two so got a good sampling. unfortunately, this burger didn't really work. it was quite dry, I couldn't see any cheese, and onion rings on the menu appear to be pieces of raw onion?! anyway, maybe with a patty, this would be OK, and maybe the brisket burger itself with slaw would be OK. just don't do a cheeseburger with brisket.

**Actually The Big Vic burger** but they don’t have it listed This was a fucking monster. That fancy potato bun tasted great, but was the size of a crouton compared to the meat/cheese ratio. Fell apart the second I picked it up and sadly lost a chunk of brisket to the ground...yes, I cried a little. The meat there is always on point; juicy, flaky and flavourful, Meat patty was rich AF! Bacon was not cooked well so lost points on that for sure. Needed a few more of the McClure’s pickles to get that acidity needed to cut through all that rich flesh! (Even a yogurt/lemon sauce would help lift it all a bit) Overall idea is there, but the construction needs a lot of work and something needs to be added to lift those sexy-meats into high gear. Regardless Vic’s; you’ll always have my heart xx

I ordered the cheeseburger, grilled with an extra patty. The beef was juicy and succulent! The cheese, onions and pickles were nice additions to the burger. The only thing I would've preferred is if they made their own special sauce, rather than the use of Master Foods mustard and ketchup. Apart from that, the meal was delicious!

Went to the fish markets at 2am during the extended Christmas trading and went for a Beef Brisket and Pulled Pork Burgs for fuel Nothing remarkable, sauces were ok Brisket wasn’t bad...pork didn’t have much flavour and was relatively dry

🍔🍔 Brisket Sandwich 🍔🍔 * Ironbark Low & Slow Smoked Beef Brisket * Housemade Slaw * Housemade Secret BBQ Sauce Who goes to the fish markets and eats beef... Well I do 😊 Vic's meat is a top class supplier of meat all along the East coast of Australia. They got themselves a butchery at the fish markets. What's even better they also have a huge smoker where you can get a delicious smoked brisket sandwich/burger. I got myself a combo that comes with a drink and a side(the potato salad was amazing). Not many ingredients in this but it was very delicious and the brisket was soft, juicy and full of flavour. The sauce was great and the slaw was fresh. If you're ever at the Sydney fish markets and feel like some good quality beef then head to Vic's.
